Normal Heights Elementary's Library

At Normal Heights Elementary, we have a remarkable independent library that holds a vast collection of over 22,000 books. Our library offers an extensive range of materials that cater to a diverse array of interests, spanning from picture books to captivating chapter books. We also have a special collection for English Learners, including books in Spanish, Vietnamese, Russian, Ukrainian, Amharic, Chinese, Farsi, Creole, and Arabic.

We recognize the importance of fostering a love for reading from a young age. That's why we ensure that all students from UTK (Universal Transitional Kindergarten) to 5th grade have the opportunity to visit our library with their classes every week. During these visits, students can easily check out books using their personal accounts. Families are also welcome to take books out, encouraging shared reading experiences at home.

To keep track of your borrowed items and explore our collection of eBooks, simply log in using your district ID at Destiny - Normal Heights Library. This convenient feature allows you to stay informed about the books you have on loan and enjoy the convenience of accessing eBooks online.

We take great pride in our outstanding library facility and the resources it offers. We believe that through the power of literature, we can inspire a lifelong passion for learning and discovery among our students.
