Definition of SGT
The SGT is a group consisting of all stakeholders (parents, community representatives, administrators, certificated and classified staff members and even students when appropriate) who come together regularly to participate in shared decision making, a process through which the culture, organization and procedures of a school are enhanced so that learning and teaching are maximized.

- changes in the instructional program
- elimination of a bargaining unit position
- change in elementary prep time subject emphasis
- non-classroom supervision schedules
- contract independent study
- site security/safety plan
- site student discipline plan
- itinerant staffing assignments
- other topics as stated in the site by-laws
